What do you guys think of the Gen 5 graphics mod people are working on?

I was planning to finally play Platinum, since that's the one region I missed out on playing (did SS though so I'm not completely blind to gen 4), and I was deliberating between waiting for that to finish or having the "more authentic experience" with the gen 4 graphics.
On the topic of finally playing Platinum, I was planning to give myself the events that actually do cool stuff, and I just want to make sure I've got my list right.
Regigigas that unlocks the other Regi areas
Secret Key for Rotom's room
Member Card for Darkrai encounter
Oak's Letter for Shaymin encounter
Azure Flute for Arceus encounter (yes I know it never officially happened but it's too cool to pass up)
