Great, but lacks recovery. Outclassed by other defensive Steel types with more utility and/or more recovery, like Skarmory, Corviknight, Heatran, and Celesteela

Only good so long as people aren't using Ground types. Ground types are really in OU right now. If Ice and Water types started dominating the meta and pushing out the Ground types, Regieleki would be OU again.

Isn’t Eleki mainly used for support such as hazard control and screens. Even with Ground types around it should still have decent utility,

Defog is way more common and Rapid Spin isn't seen very often. There's also A-Ninetales for 1 turn instra screens.

They were good (passable, at least) in Gen 3. Kinda like how Uxie was actually pretty decent in Gen 4 OU, and Mesprit wasn't half bad either. Both the Lake Trio and Regi Trio fell off hard in the very next generation to the point where only one from each is good.
