Clefable has like zero impact on the game and is about as squishy as an Attacker while being close range, no one needs her to be walking around like Mr. Mime but in her current state the best thing she's gonna do is be a second Focus Band until she gets blown up by any collateral damage while contributing zero damage to a teamfight. She at the very least needs more defenses or some kind of proper CC to make up for how pathetic her offenses are.

CC doesn't refer to just stunning and straight up disabling moves may as well be a stun to some characters any ways
it's really just the exploding at the touch that sucks, its ability is supposed to give it a shield when healing allies but it feels like it doesn't even exist

The range is still workable and with the CD build Hoopa gets to spam trick every 5 secs and keep and keep trick shield up to 4 secs. It is basically a semi infinite shield with a 1 sec CD delay. If you are playing support you are not doing much damage anyway but the stun from shadow ball which is a 4.5 sec CD is good and is much short with the CD reduction build letting you stun an enemy twice with 4 shadow balls total with trick ready to be used again.
As long as that stun is not nerfed trick/ball hoppa is exactly doing its job as support and it's unite

Since my experience is low in MOBA's how often do earlier characters stay relevant, like in other games would your favorite character just become completely obsolete in a year or two or is it just a rotating door of buffs and nerfs to keep then used?

I wish there was a visual indicator to your teammates to tell them you're stacking. Or at least a text line. So many times, we defeat both laners and they drop tons of orbs and my teammates will pick them all up to cap instead of letting me get in one at a time for max stacks early on.

You can try scoring with the minimap open, I think it will ping "I have X points to score", or something like that?

After 5 minutes of match just focus on scoring goals and 1vs1. Never go to full team fight, you'll vanish in a sec.
Avoid 1vs1 against Absol, Decidueye and Mr Mime if you're using Night Slash, they can easily stop the combo. Gengar too but Full Heal is key.
His early game is monster but after 5 minutes boy is made of thin paper.
I like Score Shield + some +Def/SpDef - SpAtk emblems to raise his endurance and it has been working. I've already got the green ribbon and win rate is 58%

The devs do. We don't really know the criteria, we've been getting a consistent mix of popular and unpopular choices since launch. Most people just assume they either play favorites or choose via which mon they have a good moveset idea for at the moment

Right now every Pokemon's got at least something going for it but the answer to this is probably Wigglytuff. Very outclassed by every other mon in the Support group and can't do it's main thing (provide CC and supplementary damage as an off-tank) because the meta's become so damage-heavy that it often dies before Sing even fully completes

After Sableye I bet we'll get a Gen 9 Pokemon out soon, but of course they can't put it into the files until after Sc/Vi come out. yea I'm at 52% ranked WR currently and the past 2 seasons I had 45% which is why I stopped playing ranked, for this season I'm at 70% after 17 matches but I just know that I'll get griefed to 40% again

On the bright side, there's more Pokemon above 50% now which shows an overall healthier state.
On the downside, MimeMewDodrio haven't exactly moved at all. Crazy how just making number go up/down doesn't address a Pokemon's overbearing strengths or flaws.

I used to be able to hold my own every match, make the most out of bad situations, and even carry from time to time.
Now it seems like I'm always destined to lose.

Stick to your fundamentals anon, these newer players rely on OP mons but sometimes just knowing tendencies of where your enemy will go at times can help you a long way. ie when playing an all rounder it’s good to hide in the bottom right bush where the enemy will jump to get to rayquaza is an easy kill
