I love Nemona but she got the least development out of the 3 friends, so I hope the DLC expands on her more. Nemona didn't seem to want to talk about her family much in area zero, so I'm interested to see what their relationship is like. I also hope the DLC expands on whatever is going on with her health.

She's got shitty stamina which was highlighted quite a bit in area zero, with her constantly mentioning taking a break at each research station, and arven flat out commenting on how her lack of stamina is odd. It's lead to some theories that she might be sick, but there hasn't been any confirmation yet.
I personally don't think they would have brought so much attention to her lack of stamina if they weren't going to do anything with it, though. So I'm hoping the DLC will expand on whatever that was all about.

Although I had a feeling that Nemona's family would show up in a DLCs, I'm not sure HOW they will show up. They are likely candidates for the "corporate sponsors" funding the Terastilization research mentioned by the Professor in one of the Area Zero Research Labs. Notably, they also pulled away at some point due to deeming the Terastilization crystals "too unstable," so they might not be bad guys.

This is mainly me going out of my way to look for stuff to back up the theory, but she's also still in her first year of school (class 1-A) despite having been at the school a while longer, and was at home instead of at the dorms at the start of the game despite you transferring in the middle of the year. So she might have had to take time off of school due to illness.

Arven is in class 2-G, so he's likely to actually be in his 2nd year.

First video I found. It's at the start of the game. It's your first year, she's been through the Treasure Hunt once which is annual, and says she never got a Pokemon when she first joined the academy.

Occam's razor would be to assume that the class numbers do not denote year, especially since you can see Arven(one of those Class 2 kids) taking the exact same class as you, a first year.

I don't think they give more emphasis to the Paldea autism trio, my bet is that they are foreign researchers who have come to paldea for the Chinese beasts and probably the history teacher has something to do with it.
