Every job within a role does essentially the same thing
Stats don’t really matter even though they are technically there only item level does, you can optimize for the only substats that matter (crit) using materia for about a 2%-5% increase in damage
Almost all buffs last 20s-30s on a 2 min cooldown, their damage increases range anywhere from 1% to 5%
Every class within a role has the same exact utility, for example, every ranged physical dps has a 10% damage mitigation raid buff
Every role has a selfish dps that does more personal damage but has no raid buffs.
Stuff like this. Basically complete and total homogenization
