All "gender unknown" pokemon are canonically female, it shows up in the hyper training menu. I say canonically as this was the case with hyper training when the game came out, and gamefreak never fixed this with ANY patch.

Unironically, I have a headcannon on the gender of the legendary for both games. I see the Koraidon you get at the beginning of game as a female since Gamefreak themselves made Juliana the main gender for Scarlet and you have Sada as the final boss while the one she use is a male. The Miraidon you get is male and the one you fight against is female.
