You know why I enjoyed Pokémon, and video games in general, in years past? It wasn't even the games themselves so much as community, the friends I could show my progress, or the cool mon I caught, or exchange tips. I especially used to enjoy breeding for people who didn't know how. Community made the game fun far more than vice versa, Pokémon was made for that. This is all gone. Pokémon now is just a brand people use to sell and consoom product or add a fake hobby to pretend their ideologies aren't their identities.
What the fuck happened? Was it GO? Did anyone else notice a change?
