... although by letting Rotom be able to talk through said device they showed that it more or less has human level intelligence and sapience the way it understands and replies to everyone about as well as a human would. Surprised that does not beak one of their many rules about making Pokemon look/act too human. They could have easily just made the dex be some highly advanced A.I. or something instead of putting a Rotom in it.
(Come to think about it, wasn't that a big plot point in Pokemon Duel? That the device you have that allows you to have the "fights" in that setting is different from everyone else's in that it's a fully sentient A.I. and not just a dumb electronic device?)
