It's kind of like Ultra Beasts, they are meant to be strange as deities.
Giratina too, and now with all 3 in their origin forms, they all have separate parts that make up Arceus's body type

I'm neutral towards them but I never thought the base forms were anything to write home about either. I'm surprised they decided to focus new forms on this pair instead of spicing up the lake trio or having some kind of boss form for arceus.
