Will Gamefreak get over their heads next game? They can no longer be indie tier of a studio, they need more people and better qualified ones at that, there just isn’t the resources for them to continue like this, they were held by scotch tape in the 3ds era and now the string has broke loose, Gamefreak still look like they kinda care a bit by with them trying to do new stuff with the pokemon formula but they lack the manpower to do anything anymore, a team like Gamefreak could hold itself together and release a finished good looking product in the gameboy and DS days but when graphics started becoming better than ps1 games they really had to evolve but they stuck with their “smar indie studio” shtick, if they don’t get more people might as well just give pokemon to someone more competent who would do it for cheaper (bandai namco *cough* *cough*)
