It's just me or they updated textures in scarlet and violet? Close up is still like a N64 game, but from distance everything look better than I remember

It's just you. On certain days I feel like the performance has improved but then I go to certain areas and its just as shitty as ever. No joke I've had 4 second freezes while in outbreaks in the terrarium
