Nobody necessarily thinks Mega Flygon is a lock, its just like "Geno in smash" syndrome, where the developers mentioned that it was almost a thing or they'd like it to be a thing, so everyone kind of assumes its a lock (and Flygon has a pretty big fanbase who wants one anyway).

Jynx won't get jack shit, It's basically one of those pseudo-illegal Pokemon that they can stick in the games but cannot allow to be a main focus or get any marketing attention.

Because Hoeenfsgs are the most pandered to pokefans after Genwunners. If Hoeenfags want a mega flygon they will get it. The only reason it didn’t happen was artistes block and game freak has over a decade to come up with something.
