I know what you mean though, it's really a lose-lose because there's no situation where everyone's happy, even if Mouri DOES remember every detail there's no replacing Miura's storytelling and art styles. The oldheads over on
Skullknight.net weren't too pleased last I checked that site, but I think people should just look at it as a brief foggy summary of what we were supposed to see, like a hazy fleeting dream of what could've been without getting totally blueballed.
It's really just a tiny bit of closure for longtime fans and fans who pick up the series down the line, but everyone knows it's gonna be different, characterization lost, loose ends untied and plotholes, just the way it is :/
