Replayed pic related and got all the Silver Symbols. It's only half way but fuck winning them is still gratifying as hell.

I know what you mean.
The game doesn't tell you to get them, but them just being obtainable makes you play through them. Hours upon hours of gameplay just like that.

I used a Scyther, a Gyarados and a Donphan I believe. It was extremely easy as Scyther outspeeds almost everything and Gyarados has Intimidate on the Switch. If an Electric-type appears you just go Donphan. Pivoting and Intimidate are broken, Donphan is just there for the rare Electric-type.

Not to mention you can't default Scyther can't be used at the Factory

I skipped Gen 4 BF. HP bar went down way too slow for my patience and the rewards (Prints) were mid in comparison to the symbols. I wasn't a fan at all.
