They very deliberately set up a Kangaskhan who knows Power-Up Punch and had it Mega Evolved to make people speculate on if abilities are in LZA (they probably aren't, because just like PLA, they want to sell you on "unlock your Pokemon's full potential in the next game!" for the new Megas, like how the new forms and mons from PLA were even better in SV now that they had their abilities) because it's literally free marketing and keeps the game relevant in the pop culture zeitgeist without actually having to unveil more information until they're ready to show off the new Mega Evolutions, the sole draw of the game.
Chikorita having Disarming Voice is the exact same shit, pure bait because GameFreak is very aware of how many Grass/Fairy fanmade Mega Meganiums exist, or romhacks that change Meganium into Grass/Fairy outright.
