Omanyte learns surf so it's okay
Cranidos gets ok physical moves but its only STAB before evolving is special

They start at level 20 at least. The Kanto fossils in FRLG start at fuckin level FIVE.
I went to check and they even lowered it from RBY, wherey they started at level 30

Sort of. All of the ones you get in the main story in BW/XY are fine, at least. Archeops and Mega Aerodactyl especially are kind of busted.

Battle Tower cloning glitch. That one was known even back in the days, when gen 4 was current.
Just give 5 pokemon a rare candy, clone the 5 pokemon and repeat.
