After years of mediocre games, they finally got a solid one, and now they’re acting like they’ve caught up to the big leagues, mostly because Game Freak’s been slacking lately. It’s the same vibe shit with Sonic fans who think they’ve finally surpassed Mario just because Sonic Crossworlds turned out great (and yeah, I’ll admit, it’s actually a really solid game). But at the end of the day, Mario still crushes it in sales.
