On the face of it, the whole thing is dumb and whatever, someone's preferences are what they are, no need to hammer it continually like it actually is the end of the world. But on the topic of interracial marriage and being an Asian male, at the very least, the statistics don't lie, there is a statistically significant enough trend at play here to talk about in the US at least. 3/10-4/10 is not something you can handwave away like it isn't worth talking about or doesn't have any value. But no one is willing to say the quiet part out loud or admit it unless I actually push them on it. It's just accepted and it fucking sucks.
