The whole Getter spawned enough of variations of similar designs, a more famous example would be the Buster Machine that I would still call something following that kind of designs generic if it was released this season.
Hell, both Bosozoku and sukeban/banchou style stuff already got a resurgence with Tokyo Revenger.
