>>319205851) Yes, it is formed by the Council Plate subducting under the Northern Indie Plate, which is similar to how it happens around the Pacific. Since they're fairly active, I would say they can look relatively steep, kind of like the Rockies and Andes (although they don't appear to be as tall as them based on the current height map, maybe ~2km or so?)
2) Wikipedia lists several plants like orchids, screw palm, mangroves (requires wetland) and Dipterocarpus trees. There's a frustrating lack of lists for special plants that are adapted to calcium-rich biome like karst forest though, so you might have to do more in-depth research to determine a more exact list of flora and fauna endemic to /lig/.
3) Yes, since the rainfall is not significant enough for the forests to be wet all year round, trees with be less dense, and most of the broadleaf trees will shred their leaves during the dry season to reduce water loss (although it might differ if the forests happen to be on a wetland). They might still look somewhat similar during summer, though.
4) In this case, they'll form along the mountain ranges as a roughly straight line due to them coming from the melting tectonic plate beneath the ranges.
