I would not love horror as much as I do if I weren't as easily unnerved as I am. Most of my early childhood memories involve getting the piss scared out of me by whatever horror movie my dad was watching. Its thrilling. The most alive I've ever felt, while not overcoming some difficult task to achieve something, would be the rare moments where my safety and life felt at risk. What better way to feel alive than to almost be unalived?
