That makes the unit of the number being measured to be independent of both the stream length and the average CCV, meaning most values should cluster around the same range and anything outside the range being outliers.
I'll call it "chat participation rate" with (let's say) 100 meaning
>out of every 100 people present at any given moment there was at least one chat at that minute.The highest that number, the more "silent" people there is in the stream.
That number is a direct proxy to "chat speed / average CCV" meaning they're indiscernible in any case and can be converted from one to the other
