>>76332530>With all due respect, you fundamentally misunderstand where the majority of Gura's income is coming from.No I don't.
>It isn't from streaming or superchats or even adsense.>It's from merchandise sales and large sponsorships like the Sendai Aquarium and Sushiro collabs.Fucking duh, anon.
If I didn't know that, why would I describe that hypothetical path as "coasting off of mascot welfare"? What do you suppose I thought that "mascot welfare" income would have been coming from?
>In other words, exactly what we've seen her do over the past 8 to 9 months down to the letter. That's cute, anon, except:
a) She's barely even been seeking lucrative sponsorships and collabs. You'd expect her to have way more in that time period than just Sendai, Sushiro, EDF and a couple song collabs if she was Jewing out (and don't forget, Marine was the one who approached HER for Shinkiro)
b) You yourself specify the last eight or nine months, while the ghosting and absences have been a problem for a year and a half. How do you explain the year or so prior to her going full hustler-mode?
c) If she wanted to maximize viewer interest, it would have made sense to specifically target holidays like Halloween and Christmas for streams as opposed to any other day. But she didn't.
d) This also doesn't explain why so many of the appearances she DID make were so weird. Again - why the FUCK did she have Myth do that confusing screenshare shit in Lethal Company? Please do explain how this was somehow part of her grand master plan to make as much money from her "ATM" fanbase as humanly possible
Your theory just doesn't add up and leaves way too many details unexplained.
