Sonny loved the movement and platforming, thought the grapple could have been improved and thought that the enemies were lacklustre with their movement and variety. He was let down by needing certain mechanics to counter an enemy instead of having the flexibility to do what he wanted. He didn't like the exploding enemies at all. He had minor gripes with the map and thinks it could have been improved-- very detailed spaces and accessible areas but no easter eggs, etc. He acknowledges that he didn't explore enough, but generally thought there was too much empty space to warrant exploration. He didn't enjoy the puzzle section, but it's a personal bias since he dislikes puzzles in action games.
Boss fights felt a little lacking in some parts, and he would have preferred a less scripted fight, more freeform. He liked a lot of things about the game, and acknowledges he didn't check out all the features (upgrades/abilities) so he can't speak much in detail about it.
