I do think it's funny that Silver played the game and things were okay for like 2 days when the hate seemed to slow down and then almost simultaneously a trans teenager gets murdered and JK Rowling puts out a hilarious interview where she insists she's not putting out any trans hate out there and a shitload of NY Times contributors denounce their own paper for pushing transphobic articles. Really stellar work on her part that nobody definitely could have seen coming.
