The lore will be basically a retelling of the Mythos Bubi, but Yokai Bubi will be more of a villain with his desire to kill all of humanity for his pleasure, Mouse realized this and went to aid humanity with one of their multiple subjects, OniKuno, both encounter VShojo, a group of Yokai Hunters, consisting of several Yokai renegades, and human hunters. With their aid they are able to defeat the Yokai King plans and go straight to him, but just as Mouse delivers the final blow, she has a vision caused by Goddess Mouse in which she sees the multiverse and the different versions of her and Bubi. She stops herself of killing Bubi, and goes back into the temple to meditate and to learn more about these multiple versions of herself.
