That is the Model and Brand. Whether those models are high quality or not is irrelevant. The person behind that model do not own it. Of course there are some Vtubers who own character, one being Suisex. Although, I'm sure if Comet were to graduate tomorrow, she just wouldn't use any models that were provided under Cover. The Brand of the agency is pretty important too. People understand that Nijisanji and Hololive can put out some dope ass chuubas. Think of it like From Software. Their brand on the industry is a pretty big deal. Players understand that they can be sure in trusting a product developed by From Software. So, they flock to From Software games even though we may know nothing about them. I guess you could tell From Software fanboys to, "get out of their bubble" or "How about give these indie games a chance". To someone who may know about video games, they know they can trust from software. Lots of people have grown to trust Hololive talents when they debut. I guess if you don't like how corpos run things that's another conversation. To say they don't bring value is objectively wrong.
