It was agonizing, disheartening, horrifying and scarring, and I still have to be thankful she went out very fast and didnt have to suffer for long and was still have to talk and reason until almost her last day on this hell.
I can guess how'd you shit your pants and drop everything on the spot to go cry next to her side when they give you the fucking call. And then you live in constant fear of your phone, if the next time it rings is going to be the big bad news
Many people here are extremely to not even be able to fathom the mental pit this is. You can never know no matter how vividly they explain it to you
Just one word of advice, go take a good photo together with your mom while you still can
