Until like 2 weeks ago Pippa was pretty casual about posting her feet, even asking chat if she should get a pedicure or dip them into mud. It's literally only on the final stretch that she is going all crazy about it. It's possible that she had a change of heart and is now genuinely feeling bad about it but if that were the case then she could just say so and the whole thing would be over. Promise or not, nobody can force her to do something she isn't comfortable with. Sure there would be some bitching and antis would have a field day but overall people would be understanding and move on after a while. There is also the fact that she made a bunch of new promises on a recent stream. Why bother making new milestone goals if she doesn't plan to do the very first one? Lastly, there is no way Lumi and Sakana would join the shitposting on twitter if behind the scenes Pippa was unironically freaking out about hitting 100k. That would go pretty hard into workplace harassment territory.
When you take all of this into consideration then the only explanation that makes sense is that Pippa wants to post her feet but is playing coy to not come off too lewd and to further rile up her audience.
