On June 5, The Israeli newspaper reported that Belzim had been released, and was expected to return home that same day. But two weeks later, Israeli Minister for Justice Ayelet Shaked announced that Hakos Baelzim would not be coming home.
“Based on our assessments, [Baelzim] may take advantage of being released to make further anti-state activity,” she said.
