Dividends give far less returns than trading, but they can be gotten from 'passive' coins that you don't touch over the week. As long as there are still viable trades remaining, it's better to funnel your liquid into them. Last couple of weeks when I was effectively trading solely for efficiency rather than making sure to zero out before dividends, it took about 400-500m per week to saturate every good investment.
Essentially, my point is that if you can reinvest that money at a profit, it's better than selling less to keep for a later spike. As long as your selling multicoin is profitable, of course, if you sell small spikes at 10x then it's not going to be profitable.
