Based on the teaser, the original song already sounds generic. The idol direction can only work if the music isn't derivative. And in terms of trying to gain western audiences, wouldn't it make more sense to produce music that appeals to western ears?
I'll watch the debuts and keep track of their personalities, but guess I'm sticking to JP and ID for the time being. I hate Tazumi for referencing The Godfather and Fight Club, it made me expect something cooler than this
