There is a set time to order, they build a list of people who are buying, they order that amount (plus a tiny overhead for missing/broken orders), they ship it, it's all gone! If their limited signed merch didn't sell out in time, they just don't sign it all and sell it as regular merch.
Unless your rrat is they're going to dig up a bunch of dusty bowls in a warehouse somewhere to paint a little r in the Cover logo to show it's a "reprint".
