I see superchats as like giving to street performers. If you find someone really talented, you might give them a few bucks. If you see them all the time, and they're dedicated and talented, you might regularly give them money, sometimes in slightly higher amounts. Youtube monthly memberships generally fall into this idea. If the content is worth it and you like the streamer, support them if you got some extra cash (especially if who you are supporting is struggling financially). I wouldn't support anyone from Hololive, or any corporate agency for that matter. If I give to a street performer and every 2/5 bucks is going to his boss (who also pays him) I would feel scammed. I know superchats have bigs cuts on them, so I'd only donate through membership if I knew my money wasn't being picked apart before being given to a streamer. Inb4 poorfag.
