What was the point of the collab ban when Kronii interacted with IRyS, Mumei with Gura, Bae and Gura in mario kart, and Sana with Ame for that one segment of Ame in the Ame? If those aren't collabs then what the hell were they? I think even IRyS got a light bonking for going into JP, even though it's their fault for giving her the wrong code and just hanging with Mori for most of her first minecraft time.

The Ame in the AM one was fine, as Coco used to do the exact same shit as the “ads” aren’t technically collabs but prerecorded skits.
The others are with IRYS and Holomyth just “accidentally” stumbling across people and not actually voice chatting. Bending rules, not breaking them.

So the new gen won't be able to leech off of Myth and gain their own personalities. At least in theory it works, Cover needs stricter guidelines since all of them are doing """accidental""" collabs.

Let's be honest, the collab ban is a waste of hype. By the time collabs happen people aren't even excited for them anymore. It's a misguided approach that wouldn't be necessary if Cover had any faith in their livers in the first place. If there's one standard practice that actually deserves to be abolished, it's the collab ban.

Collab ban is for the benefit of the ones under the ban. If they break it then the punishment is having no distinct personality and being seen as a sidekick in collabs.
