>>17658931I know more everyday.
At the beginning I knew hello and good morning, I knew what the word cute was but I wouldn't have been able to recognise either in written form.
I had never even tried to learn before hololive, the thought of learning hundreds of characters which was basically a fraction of their written language seemed impossible for me. "My handwriting is terrible to begin with" I would think.
I find it legitimately crazy both how much I know of Japanese and how much I don't know of it.
I did french for almost a decade in school and maybe I know the word for bicycle. But maybe that was the word for green, I can't even remember and I don't care to think about it much.
The language is only one way they've inspired me to improve as well.
Membership? That's nothing. I have paid for 5 concerts so far and I have the Akidaki, Aki's tapestry, Aki's mousepad(not the best kind but still) and in the future I plan on supporting even more.
I'll forever be grateful to the girls and I will show it as much as I can.
