Apex matches can be quite long and the vast majority of it is downtime, basically just looting and walking around. Fights don't last that long and you need to constantly flee, heal, etc.
The worst thing is that despite action lasting so little, the game still needs your full attention at all times.
Valorant uses much smaller maps and pits the players against each other right away. The streamer can read chat between rounds.
