Kind of funny to think how explosive their growth is but how very little impact they had in their company compared to how Myth did it. I don't think people give enough credit how much growth Hololive got as a whole when Myth dropped. It revived interest in HoloID, grew JP internationally and grew interest in EN vtubers by a mile. I think you can see that clearly by how small the JP subs were before Myth debuted and after they debuted. This also helped gain interest in IRyS, Council and HoloX when they came out because of the popularity of Myth at the time.
Then you've got these 3 and it seems the explosive growth only really benefited themselves with very minimal help to their company or branch. Kobo is the 2nd revival of HoloID but she gains the bulk of views. Even though HoloID is getting more subs than they usually do, their viewership maybe only increased by 10~20% and they break 2k a little easier when they were struggling to do that before. No trickle down subs for EN or JP like what Myth did.
Vox and Luxiem kind of did what Myth did at the start but that quickly soured as the ENgirls are suffering for the boys success. Vox panders to his paypigs and there doesn't seem to be much growth for ID, KR and JP branches like what Myth did to Hololive. Same goes for the new desuwa girl. It's like they mimicked the sub growth but not the benefits that defined Myths arrival. I guess it really was lightning in a bottle since nobody has replicated such a universal growth for an entire company since then.
