I genuinely don't understand why they aren't playing Rust like it's meant to be played. I've seen more killing and PvP in Minecraft than their Rust streams.

Were you not around for Matsuri and Pekora in S1? Pekora raided Matsuri while she was occupied with a stream on the official channel. As soon as Matsuri got home, she went full vindictive mode and streamsniped while getting back at Pekora. By the end of the stream, Pekora was fuming about it and her chat was malting and spilling its outrage over into other chats.

To the point, playing Rust as it ‘meant to be played’ would lead to so much unnecessary drama. These are just a bunch of unrelated gamers but coworkers with clingy and protective fanbases. Hololive refuses to play Rust so instead you get HoloRust.

But in a serious note why play rust and treat it like minecraft if they can't handle being killed in a online game then gtfo and play something like sims instead.

If you are given a gun in a game, it means someone or something is going to fuck you up. Or you should fuck someone up.
Joining JP's war would give Mumei a perfect excuse to let loose. For example, Miko wants to screw with Matsuri thus she recruits Mumei as a helping hand.
It would be fantastic to join JP, but it's not essential. The most important thing is try to do things with or to others.

I think they realized if they did that only a few of them would play at most. The roster for S2 only drastically grew as alot of fence sitters hopped on AFTER the 'rules of chivalry' were established for this new HoloRust.
