i seriously don’t get the whole curl up your fingers thing, just makes your grip on what you’re cutting shittier. So shouldn’t you have a bigger chance to slip and cut your hand or something? Never cut my fingers just doing it normally before

You're not meant to death grip the thing ur cutting though, its meant to make it easier to move ur fingers while u cut while reducing the amount mass the knife can cut

That's pretty unlikely. You're more likely to get cjd through a contaminated brain tissue sample (300-odd per year in the US) than by eating pig brains (zero per year in the US). In fact the biggest threat posed by eating pig brains is elevated cholesterol and blood pressure levels from the salt content. I personally would avoid beef and bushmeat brains for obvious reasons, but pig brains should be safe. Of course that being said they don't call them patient zero for nothing.
