Cover IS probably a bad and scummy company behind closed doors. I couldn't say for certain.

What I can say for certain is that when it's gone you WILL miss its culturally moderating effect on the overall vtuber sphere. When in a few years you start noticing the new girls are no longer taking their cues on how to act from Hololive girls but from other indies that have found success by gaming the algorithm and appealing to the lowest common denominator. When 99% of your viewing options are the equivalent of Twitch hot tub girls and all of the creativity and goodhearted fun has been drained out this community.

If you are truly a vtuber fan and are rabidly shitposting Cover either due to legitimate grievances or just sheer boredom I ask you to really stop and consider about what effect their downfall would have on this hobby.
