I’m not sure how to show my gratitude for this thread, but in any case, I found it the same morning I decided I was due to reinvent myself.
It’s a thing I start and give up on regularly, because even when progress gets made, I either end up paralyzed by choices or go back to my old ways.
I’m also not sure whether I’ve become a superstitious weirdo, but some really unexpected coincidences have been happening lately, and the feeling of derealization is hard to ignore. Some of these replies talk about such specific kinds of thoughts and failures, it makes me wonder if I’m not dead or dreaming.
I’ll still take that as a sign not to concede this time. Whoever I realize I am, I’m going to have you guys on my mind for a long time.
