I wrote a basic API that scrapes weather data from my weather station outside, so that temperature is perfectly accurate. If you guys want to do something similar, get an RTL-SDR antenna (~$40) and run rtl_433 to write to a named pipe, and some basic web api that reads from the pipe and returns the latest tick to the caller. If someone wants, I can post the code for the API.
