The biggest part of my 'self' is my isolation. I've never been close to anyone. My mother divorced my biological father before I could remember. I've never lived in one house for more than a year or so. I've never had a father figure. I knew my biological dad, visiting him on weekends and such, but we never connected. So I was raised by my mother on her own.
I never had any friends for a long time. Recently I've developed long-term relationships that can last as I move around, but I was banned from the first (and only) internet community I ever felt at home in. That sucked. Since then I've never connected to anyone.
