tricky one, mate. I know where you're coming from on this, it's just that old maps, like the ones your talking about, are rather rare. Captains who were loosing their ships would destroy their maps and countries would regularly destroy maps so information wouldn't get out to spies or the enemy. My Senior Thesis for my Bachelors was on the maps you're talking about, and want, i think. The only maps i do have are historically accurate maps made today to look old. Try Wikipedia, or, got to the library of any accredited university and look in their map archives. Happy hunting.
