I visited this monastery in 2022. I didn't see much of the monks but it was a very hot day and many of them had left their bedroom windows wide open. I could see a handful of their posessions - one of them had a little pokemon plush. I hadn't thought that they were allowed to keep possessions like that. I'd love to go back and actually meet some of them one day.
