I recommend trying out Youjo Senki. I read the various adaptations are pretty different. The anime has a lot of action (and it's not bad). The manga has a lot of misunderstandings (which largely serve as comedy). I also like the manga's art a lot better than the anime. Also the manga has stuff the anime skipped. Haven't touched the light or web novel yet. I should ask my library if they have the light novel. It's licensed in english. Manga is licensed in english too, although I think the scanlations are substantially farther along than legit/english-licensed.
