No amount of reasoning and explaining to others will make them change. If authors writing interesting stories can't then most of us can't.
i remember reading a story by a 19th century norwegian author. the story is about a poor woman who is forced to become a whore because shes too poor. and a cop and a doctor takes advantage of her. the book got banned but caused a huge uprising and led to changes in norwegian law. this was a time way before feminism so maybe there is hope. who knows
