As for the actual scandals.
The ads are fucking insane. (3 minutes of ads every 30 minutes) and twitch can force ad breaks on non monotized channels now too. Also they are a lot more aggressive in fighting ad blockers as well and unlike youtube, no option to skip after 5 seconds. If I didn't have a script specifically for blocking ads I wouldn't bother with twitch at all.
Emiru was just a total failure in security by twitch as
>>106059403 pointed out. If someone could just walk up and assault her, that opens something much worse happening if a person can smuggle in a weapon. The fact that twitch's security just sat on the ass the entire time and watched the guy walk away just made it worse.
Regardless, that's a flesh tuber issue that shouldn't affect Vtubers.
Twitch staff stole all the gifts to be given to former Vshojos streamers who were there though.
