>>94150442They had Twisty return to shill her birthday merch, and the sale period has already ended.
Ever since "Twisty" tweeted out on Dec 12 her indefinite "hiatus" to prepare for a then-upcoming panel, her only Niji activity was that panel two or three days later, "her" tweet announcing her two birthday streams, and those two birthday streams (one of which has been privated). And those two streams had most of the rest of the branch with her, probably as insurance to make sure that she wouldn't pull a COD martyrdom.
And PR incompetence cannot not be in the picture. It was in the picture when they suspended Aster for only one week at first, it was in the picture when they announced their "investigation" into the harassment AND the leaks, it was in the picture when "Twisty" made that "hiatus" announcement; it was in the picture when they extended Aster's suspension to eight weeks and set the chat to four-week subscribers, and then set it to one-year subscribers, and then extended his suspension until RIGHT after Nijifes. And while he doesn't have much in the way of subscribers, stream revenue, or merch revenue, he still has more than Twisty in all three categories; so the bean counters wouldn't bat an eyelid at the idea of firing Twisty and keeping Aster, and they wouldn't have a hard time convincing the shareholders that this is better for the company than keeping the runt and firing the mid-card guy.
And while she may want out of the company, she showed their ass to the world (via the receipts False published). They won't not retaliate against her for that, even if it means keeping her suspended but technically employed for as long as legally possible, and then formally terminating her the day before her contract expires.
